Gin is distilled with botanicals for flavour, with juniper being the most prominent. There are a few different styles of gin, with London Dry being the most popular and easily recognisable style (think Bombay Sapphire, Tanqueray, Gordon's etc.). Some gins are best mixed in a Gin & Tonic or other cocktail, whereas others are intended to be sipped neat.
